Suppression, The Key To An Obama Victory

As this election dwindles down we are getting a closer look at the connection between the Obama campaign and the main stream media, and its frightening. We have a candidate who is not only attempting to buy an election and suppress dissent, we have a willing media who is doing his dirty work. I don't care what your politics are, the trend we are seeing from the media and the Obama campaign should send chills down your spine.

Video Of Barack Obama Attending A Celebration That Bashed Jewish People Will Not Be Shown- So the back story here is that an LA Times writer was writing about the connection between Obama and a PLO Operative Rashid Khalidi, during his research he came across a 2003 video of a dinner honoring Khaldi that Barack Obama attended. The reporter Peter Wallsten confirmed the existance of the tape and its contents, but will not release the tape.  Here is an excerpt from Gateway Pundit:

The LA Times is holding a video that shows Barack Obama celebrating with a group of Palestinians who are openly hostile towards Israel. Barack Obama even gives a toast to a former PLO operative at this celebration. If the American public saw this side of Barack Obama he would never be elected president.
But, the media refuses to release this video.

During the dinner a young Palestinian American recited a poem accusing the Israeli government of terrorism in its treatment of Palestinians and sharply criticizing U.S. support of Israel. If Palestinians cannot secure their own land, she said, "then you will never see a day of peace.

One speaker likened "Zionist settlers on the West Bank" to Osama bin Laden, saying both had been "blinded by ideology." Barack Obama also praised the former PLO operative during the event.

Either this reporter is completely in the tank, or as Michelle Malkin suggests, "maybe he is afraid of getting the Joe The Plumber treatment." Either way, if Governor Palin had been at something like this, they would run it non stop. The bias this year is just gag inducing.

Using Anonymous Sources CNN Runs With McCain/Palin Infighting Story- How anyone can say with a straight face that the media is fair is absolutely beyond me at this point. I know I'll get the comments and the emails from liberals, but really, come on. Here is an excerpt from NewsBusters:

The Obama-loving media has found a new narrative for the last full week of the campaign: Sarah Palin's not only a drag on the ticket, she's a runaway "rogue." CNN.com's Political Ticker is quoting anonymous McCain aides getting nasty:

She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone," said this McCain adviser. "She does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else.

Also, she is playing for her own future and sees herself as the next leader of the party. Remember: Divas trust only unto themselves, as they see themselves as the beginning and end of all wisdom.

Obviously, if this aide were named in the story, he or she would have to be responsible for these quotes, instead of hiding behind a mask. But it feeds a media voraciously in search of a storyline of how people who know they have lost behave: demoralized and pointing fingers.

The media just loves stories bashing Republicans that are not sourced, anyone remember that John McCain had an affair with a lobbyist story? The New York Times could not get anyone on the record but ran with it anyway. Any wonder why their circulation is in the tubes and CNN is behind in the ratings?

Final Thoughts- So here is the thing folks, I don't think I can drive this point home enough, the media is attempting to completely demoralize you and suppress your vote. They will willingly hide evidence of a devastating nature just so they can get their way this election. You have the Obama campaign crucifying Joe The Plumber, threatening tv stations and radio stations that dare question Obama; and on top of that you have a complicit media who will shield this guy all the way until election day and beyond.

If Obama wins, and he very well might, I think a great deal of his supporters are going to have buyers remorse once they understand who Obama really is. We will have a big fight on our hands because we are going to have in essence a state run media not unlike what they have in Iran. Yes, the media has become that bad. An Obama administration won't be satisfied with a lap dog main stream media press, they will also demand the Fairness Doctrine be brought back to try and kill talk radio. The media and the Obama camp want to suppress your speech and your vote, so don't let them, go vote early and make your voice heard. Until next time...

Your comments are as accurate as they are chilling. Obama is seething in anti-American and anti-constitutional behavior and yet the media (which is also running against their constitutional duty to provide accurate information and to protect the American people) continues to protect him, while viciously attacking anyone who utters a peep against them. Remind you of the KGB?

What is worse is that the American people are BELIEVING this hooey. They are trading their souls for "insurance" thinking that at least now they can go to the doctor whenever they want--- what fools! The people in Canada and Cuba wait MONTHS for an appointment and then the GOVERNMENT tells them what treatments they can have-- or NOT have.

The headline on Drudge and link to the actual conversation of Obama admitting he is seeking reparations either through the courts or if that fails through legislation. He talks about the Warren Court and even though some people thought it was a liberal court it was afraid to go against the founding document, our constitution, to mandate the redistribution of wealth. He is a Marxist. I hope this becomes a big story today because the sheeps clothing are gone during this interview. Chilling.

I've seen a considerable lack of media coverage surrounding Palin's unbelievable ties to the Alaskan Independence Party, which supports violent secession from the nation for Alaska. The media's lack of noting this point is gag-inducing to me. Also, Palin, in 2008, gave a speech at their convention. It goes both ways.

Is she unaware that Isreal is actually a country??

So, no real response from my liberal readers about this video tape, instead I guess the argument is "well Palin is getting away scott free too." This is absolutely insipid. Palin has been the most scrutinized candidate in this election, and Brad the media did try to paint her as a radical secessionist, but the evidence wasn't there. Also Basick, where is your source for what Palin allegedly said? I get a lot of innuendo on my blog, but I would like a link to back up your claims. How you all can turn an issue about the media and Barack Obama into another Palin smear is beyond me. The tape exists, he praised a PLO officer, are you so partisan and in the tank that this doesnt chill you to your core?? I might as well talk to a brick wall, because you guys only see "my guys vs your guys" and therefore are not behaving in an intellectually honest fashion. 39.6% dividend tax

How does this affect you? If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes.

If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home sale will go to taxes.
This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on income from their home as part of their retirement income.

39.6% dividend tax

If you have money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds,life insurance,
retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will be paying nearly 40% of the money earned to taxes.

Can't believe I actually fell for his message of change at one time. I hope other independents start to see the deception in his campaign as I have.

You are so right Nancy. But the scary part of this whole thing is this. No matter how much they pull up on Obama and the Socialistic ways that he totally and completely believes in, he moves to the center to win, and the people seem to believe his move. Where is the common sense in this country? It seems that we don't have any now, but, mark my words. If Obama is elected, and he moves back to the left like I know he will, I will be right up front in saying "I TOLD YOU ALL SO." when the liberals heads start reeling on what their darling is doing to America. I'm a liberal, and I couldn't agree with you more! What many conservatives don't seem to have noticed is that Obama has split the democratic party. There are many of us who would have a hard time figuring out who was the lesser of two evils if he were running against Satan.

Every tactic you are talking about we saw in the primary. We knew how Palin would be treated when she was picked, because we saw the media do exactly the same thing with Hillary Clinton. And we also saw the media trying to suppress turnout by inflating the polls and constantly harping about why Hillary wasn't dropping out - even though there was only a separation of 17 delegates at the end. Then they conveniently turned their eyes at the fraud that happened at the convention.

I think conservatives are just starting to get what a dangerous man Obama is and how he will do anything to win, no matter what laws he has to break or who he has to destroy. And I seriously doubt he would govern any differently than what we have already seen from his campaign. Again, we saw all this in the primaries, which is why so many McCain campaign offices have so many democratic supporters working for his election. Yes, that's another thing the media isn't telling you - if you thought the Reagan democrats were a large group, just wait until you see how the Clinton democrats swing this election.

I don’t know if there’s anything on that tape or not. I do know that we have a RIGHT to find out. Since the LA Times refuses to release it, we have little option but to force them to do so.

a.) Cancel you subscription -- TODAY!
b.) Make sure the newspaper knows why you cancelled.
c.) Grab a copy of the paper and make sure that their advertisers, especially the big ones, know that you’ve cancelled and why.
d.) Make sure the newspaper knows you’re talking to their advertisers.
e.) If you can spare some time, picket/protest the LA Times offices.
f.) Encourage your friends, neighbors, coworkers, family, etc. to do the same.
g.) Copy this message to every BLOG you visit.

If we hit them hard enough on their bottom line, they WILL release the tape.
